Numerical Simulation of Double Surface Liquid Ejector with Flow Swirl for Centrifugal Pump

چکیده

Many systems with liquid ejectors and centrifugal pump are known. Often, jet pumps used to provide a self-priming mode, as well an acceptable pressure level for cavitation-free operation. The main disadvantage of such is the relatively low efficiency associated peculiarities energy transfer in ejector. To increase double surface driving suction flow swirl (with circumferential component velocity) proposed. active swirling ensured by using multi-nozzle tangential nozzle inlet passive part special blade system. Combination these factors makes it possible improve conversion process. In comparison known design increases 10 % – 15 %. Flow also permits reduce horizontal overall size increasing diffuser angle reducing mixing chamber length. These positive effects can be achieved methods recommendations given this paper. paper includes ANSYS CFX numerical simulation study results analysis impact position, length other geometry parameters on performance. allow optimize constructive solutions.
